Job Description

A Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth operation of an organization’s network and IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance, servers, systems, and telecommunications infrastructure.

• Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve network outages and performance issues.

• Respond to alerts, incidents, and service disruptions in real time.

• Perform routine system health checks and preventive maintenance.

• Escalate critical incidents to senior engineers or vendors when necessary.

• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and network devices.

• Maintain uptime and availability of enterprise networks and services.

• Document incidents, solutions, and operational procedures.

• Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and internal IT teams.

• Ensure compliance with security policies and operational standards.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly network performance reports.

• Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity operations.

• Monitor bandwidth utilization and optimize network performance.

• Provide technical support during planned maintenance and upgrades.

• Work in rotational shifts for 24/7 operations if required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical
